LIMITED EDITION VINYLS
After finding a new appreciation for some old hologram-collages, I redesigned three Vinyl covers for three singles that I have enjoyed listening to. The process of making the textures for these covers require constructing a plastic prism and placing it over an animation displayed on a screen, this will project a hologram in the prism revealing some very dynamic pictures. I would then take photos of the pictures and make a collage using Photoshop creating these very unique and colourful textures.
With a couple finishing touches and text, these images were the finishing result. This is an example of project that required experimenting with a different kind of practise to what I usually use and the results were worth the patience. I will definitely develop this practise further and I am excited to see where it will take me.
